Job Description

We are currently seeking a Programme Officer to join our clients Infrastructure Planning and Delivery team in Central London.
As a Programme Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the initiation, development, and delivery of projects and programmes related to infrastructure planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other team members to support the initiation and development of projects and programmes
• Maintain data stores specific to large funding streams related to the Council\'s levy income, which can amount to millions of pounds
• Support the collection and operation of levies from various sources such as CIL and S106
• Liaise with the public, development industry, internal/external colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and obtain necessary information for data input
• Populate and maintain data stores for funding information related to projects and programmes
• Provide detailed information to customers and colleagues regarding business operations and projects/programmes within the Infrastructure Planning and Delivery function
• Assist in the preparation of reports and briefings on projects and programmes for various audiences
• Contribute to the planning and preparation of consultation processes and events for multiple projects and programmes
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of communications related to specific projects and programmes, coordinating with communications specialists when necessary
• Support the procurement of expert advice on various project and programme matters
• Ensure the delivery of the Council\'s equality objectives and actively engage in team planning and service planning initiatives
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections, reporting findings to the team
• Take responsibility for the accurate management of data related to significant income streams
• Demonstrate initiative in developing ideas and solutions to key project issues
• Manage multiple bids for new funding streams concurrently, overseeing the entire process from start to finish and securing necessary sign-offs and partner buy-in

We are looking for applications from Programme Officers that have previous experience in working within a Infrastructure and Regeneration background.
