Programme Officer




Salary from 36,008 to 40,991 pa inclusive with potential to progress to 43,854 pa inclusive of London allowance.





LSE's Extended Education division is a highly successful and commercially focused unit that comprises of the LSE Summer School, which enjoys a truly global reputation, as the largest in the world in terms of global intake and the LSE-designed University of London Programmes, with over 10,000 students worldwide currently study with us online or at one of 30 recognised teaching centres. The courses, degrees and diplomas we offer across this diverse and dynamic portfolio provide a significant revenue source for the school, generating critical funds to invest in LSE's world-leading teaching and research. We operate in increasingly competitive markets and have ambitious targets for growth.



We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Programme Officer to support the delivery and ambitious development of our Global programmes. This exciting role sits within the Programme Management team and works closely with LSE academics, the University of London, our digital learning partner 2U, and a global network of Teaching Centres.



In particular, the post holder will focus on:


Supporting the delivery, development, and academic operations of the EMFSS programmes.

Coordinating workshops, webinars, and other programme activities.

Managing communications with students, academic staff, and global partners.

Contributing to continuous improvement through operational enhancements and collaborative initiatives.




The ideal candidate will have:


Experience in programme or project administration within higher education or a similar complex environment.

Excellent communication skills (written and oral).

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Experience handling enquiries and delivering excellent customer service to a diverse range of stakeholders.

Please note this role is office-based three days a week with two days a week from home, except during peak periods (e.g. exam sessions) when it is office-based four days a week, with one day a week working from home (approx. 13 weeks in the year).
