Job Description

You'll assist in the delivery of our Summer of Play activities across the summer holiday period from 18th July - 1st September. By doing so, you'll help to create an enjoyable experience for everyone.


Salary:

12.75 per hour


Duration:

Fixed Term Contract until 1st September 2025


Hours:

172.5 hours over the course of your contract. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the contract.


Average of 28 hours a week. You will work on a rota pattern which includes working every other weekend, as well as alternate Monday-Wednesday/Thursday-Friday.


Interview Date:

Tuesday 8th and Thursday 10th July 2025


Ideal start date:

Friday 18th July 2025

This former cotton mill was built in 1784 and is one of Britain's greatest industrial heritage sites. The busy estate hosts many schools' programmes and events, which help bring Quarry Bank's fascinating story to life. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an inspiring location and the team pride themselves on being dynamic, highly motivated and passionate people.

What you'll be doing:You will work across our Summer of Play programme - providing an enthusiastic and warm welcome, engaging with visitors in playful activities, collecting feedback, and ensuring our play spaces are maintained to the highest quality.


Working with the team you'll deliver events and activities that bring our place to life for our visitors all year round. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You'll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. You'll deliver high standards of presentation on site and ensure all our communications with our visitors around the property is clear and consistent.
