Job Title: Lecturer in Employability and Progression

Salary: Up to \xc2\xa333,528

Hours Per Week: 35

We are actively searching for Lecturer in Employability and Progression to join our Employability and Progression Team at our Conway Park Campus for 35 hours per week. We will offer a salary of up to \xc2\xa333,528 per year plus many added incentives including:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the college for an enthusiastic and motivated lecturer on Routes to Success and Progression to FE courses, within the Department of Employability and Progression. This is a very rewarding role where you will work with the most disengaged young people and watch the immediate impact our courses and staff have on their ability to achieve a positive outcome. The post holder will assist in the development, organisation and management of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in this area.

The successful applicant will hold a teaching qualification, relevant degree and be able to drive a minibus. You will have recent experience of teaching students within the FE sector, engaging with the most disengaged, organise and run community project with local voluntary groups, charities etc.

The post will involve working 35 hours per week and will be based at our Conway Park Campus in Birkenhead, Wirral although some of the post will require delivery off site within Merseyside area at various community projects. The successful applicant will be able to join the College\'s pension scheme as well as receive the College\'s generous holiday entitlement.

About the Job
  • To assist in the development, organisation and management of high quality teaching and learning in the area of Employability and Progression JD Point
  • To provide teaching and support that contributes to an outstanding student experience from the start of the college journey to progression into further study or employment.
  • To provide, on a one to one and group basis, high quality interventions that encourage learners to engage whilst enabling the achievement of realistic yet challenging goals to support future success and progression.
About You
  • Hold a teaching qualification.
  • Have current teaching or training experience with L1/NEET learners
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to use I.T. to support learners in a flexible learning environment especially on Teams
