We are looking for casual Progression Workers to join the team at our busy Langdale Day Service for adults who have a learning disability and complex health care needs. The Langdale Day Service operates weekdays across multiple sites including, Bispham (Old Library), Blackpool Centre for Independent Living, at three Nibbles training cafes located at BCIL, Anchorsholme Library and the Carleton Cemetery in addition to a variety of community based projects across Blackpool. Therefore, no two days are truly ever the same for you here at Langdale!
Your role will be to provide personal care support, planning and the facilitation of interesting group and community activities across all the service and in mentoring our Nibbles trainees' catering skills development and operating the cafes.
You will be part of a large, dedicated, innovative and flexible team working together to enhance the lives of people with a learning disability. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we are further developing the service to ensure that we embed pathways which enable people to take their next steps in many areas of personal interests such as in artistry, catering, photography and horticulture for example.
If you have care related experience, innovation and the flexibility to work with us across the service areas then we look forward to hearing from you.
