We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our dynamic team for a long-term career supporting our growing business which measures, makes and installs curtains and blinds for the high-end Interior Design industry.
We work for some of the best Interior and Architecture firms, requiring us to deliver excellence in making and service for some of the most impressive homes and buildings in the UK and overseas.
The role will be customer facing by phone on a daily basis, seeing projects through from quote acceptance to install. The successful candidate will therefore be confident in speaking to clients and resolving issues swiftly. As our work is often part of a larger development project, you will be comfortable managing changing dates and criteria.
Full training will be provided in the specifics of our business, but you will come with a strong instinct for capturing details and ensuring things are right first time. A background in the interior design industry would be a bonus, but not essential for the role. We have found that having pride in being part of bespoke, quality manufacturing business is essential for all successful employees.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project activities, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This is a full-time office based role, Monday to Friday, 09h00 to 17h00.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
Assist in data entry and management using , Quotient, a Company CRM and Microsoft Office.
Handle phone communications with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Organise procurement from our trusted suppliers
Organise project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met
Plan for and organise installations with our clients
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Experience
Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is essential.
Proficiency in using a CRM is highly desirable.
Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Familiarity with office procedures and administrative best practices.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
