This new part-time 0.4 FTE post is available from 1st July 2025 on a fixed term basis until 31st October 2026.



This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.


Summary of the role



The post will provide administrative support for the GEMINI research project, funded by the Medical Research Council. This is a national project working across multiple university sites and aims to find better ways to support university students with their wellbeing and mental health.



The post holder will require good diary management skills, should enjoy working as part of a busy team and have the necessary communication skills and confidence to interact appropriately with a wide range of people at all levels. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the office systems for the above project including diary management and necessary travel and meetings arrangements for the team and assisting in processing expenses claims and financial record keeping duties. The post holder must recognise the changing nature of the work and be prepared to be flexible as roles and responsibilities change and develop.

It is essential to the smooth running of the project for the post holder to demonstrate good communication skills and a pleasant and courteous manner as they will be working closely with external stakeholders such as academic institutions and local authorities. The post holder will be expected to be well organised, motivated and flexible and work using their own initiative.
