Projects Administrator- 6 Months Temporary Contract



The Company



Starfrost design, manufacture, install and service industrial freezing and chilling systems for the global food processing industry. Since 1984, we have delivered over 600 equipment installations to customers in 60 countries across 6 continents. Our focus is high performance, reliability and innovation.

Starfrost are part of Star Refrigeration, the largest independent UK industrial refrigeration system supplier. Star has 10 offices around the country and Starfrost often works in close cooperation with the various Star offices to bring our customers turn-key solutions.

We are looking for someone to grow with our business and become part of a great team working to deliver first class, quality engineered equipment to our global customer base.

The Role:



Working as part of a small team, the duties within the role are broad and cover a range of different responsibilities, which include but are not limited to the following:

Financial



Manage component suppliers and prices

Order and organise project components and supplies

Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment

Processing accounts documentation onto IFS system

Administrative support



Providing support of a high quality to the team as and when required

Maintain paper/electronic filing systems

Act as first point of contact, connecting callers and visitors with appropriate members of staff

Production of documents



This will include technical O&M Manuals using a number of packages. You will compile documents to a high standard and work to tight deadlines

Maintain and update accounts databases and documentation

Inventory Movement



Monitoring and ordering of staff equipment and provisions

The Candidate



The successful candidate must have:

Previous administration experience, preferably in a similar role

A flexible approach, as often tasks can be reactive

Good negotiating skills

Good problem solving skills and be solution focused

Excellent attention to detail

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate knowledge and experience in areas including:

Providing Administration Support in a similar environment

The use of ERP Systems

Producing documentation

Good knowledge of Word and Excel

Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload

Ability to work as part of a team
