What you'll do:



Managing and maintaining programme schedules and plans working collaboratively with project managers, designers, specialists, supply chain partners as well as commercial, financial and operational teams. Proactively identify, assess and mitigate risks at programme level. Support project managers to ensure adherence to project level change and risk processes. Manage pre-commissioning activities, liaising with key internal and external clients and delivery teams. Develop and maintain reports to meet client requirements, internal business need and project delivery. Analyse programme schedules to identify potential risk, opportunities, benefits, trends and issues to inform business resilience and improvement and optimise resource allocation within the programme. Contribute to and support adherence to organisational quality standards and performance indicators. Support project delivery team in project close out processes and manage programme level close down activities, lessons learnt and benefits management. Working collaboratively across the organisation to promote knowledge sharing, enable effective tracking, identification of any risks and the implementation of PMO processes and controls.

What we're seeking:



HNC, HND or Degree qualified in Project Management or similar/relevant discipline. Applicants with alternative background, e.g. Engineering and experience of project controls may be considered Membership of APM and/or other relevant professional qualification. Experience in developing and maintaining project schedules on multiples projects and programmes. Demonstrable experience of project controls - scheduling/programming, cost control, change control in highways or construction industry would be an advantage but not essential. Highly organised and analytical with excellent attention to detail and meticulous approach. Excellent communicator and ability to collaborate influence and work with colleagues at all levels. Confident in challenging assumptions and asking questions to challenge processes to drive continuous improvement. Advanced use of the Microsoft Office suite (including Excel and Project) and preferably but not essential Primavera P6, or other programming software tools/systems as defined by the project or client.
