The Role


JOB TITLE:

Project Coordinator

BASE LOCATION:

Bellshill (hybrid)

SALARY:

25K - 30K Depending on skills and experience

WORKING PATTERN:

Permanent I Full-time (35 hours per week)

ROLE PURPOSE:


We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Coordinator to join our team delivering IT services and infrastructure projects to a diverse client base. You will support the planning, coordination, and execution of client projects, working closely with technical consultants, and support teams. You will also act as a key point of coordination across our technical services teams, providing high-quality administrative support to ensure efficient service delivery.

This role is ideal for someone with a couple of years' experience in the IT industry who is looking to transition into project management. You will contribute to the delivery of infrastructure, cloud, security, and application services for our wide client base. You will gain exposure to the full project life-cycle while learning our proven MSP project management processes and tools.

This role could also be suited to a Graduate with a degree in an IT discipline looking to kick start their career in project management.

Key Responsibilities



Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating IT projects across our Technical division Manage and maintain accurate consultant schedules, ensuring alignment with project plans and priorities Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are on track and within scope Support resource allocation to optimise consultant utilisation while balancing customer needs and lead times Track project progress, prepare and distribute weekly status reports, and maintain up-to-date project documentation Identify and flag risks or delivery issues in a timely manner Contribute to post-project reviews and help refine processes Support the upkeep of internal reporting including consultancy utilisation stats and the outstanding order book Provide general project admin support as required across the business

What do I need?



2+ years of experience in an IT-related role (e.g., support, systems admin, technical coordination, project administrator) Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, or software delivery environments Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical conversations Experience using ticketing systems or CRM/project tracking tools Interest in developing a long-term career in project management Organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a keen eye for detail Team player with a helpful and courteous approach Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; strong numeracy skills are an advantage Flexibility and initiative are essential, as this role requires adaptability and proactive problem-solving Any exposure to Agile, PRINCE2, or ITIL methodologies is desirable

Preferred backgrounds include:



IT Support Analysts or Service Desk Engineers Network or Systems Technicians with coordination experience Junior consultants or Project Administrators involved in project delivery Graduate from an IT discipline looking to start their career in Project Management
