The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving project success within our Environment and Planning (E&P) team. You'll monitor key metrics such as financial progress and performance, resource allocation, together with service and quality, ensuring every project aligns seamlessly with broader business objectives. Beyond tracking progress, you'll be the go-to support for day-to-day operations; drafting client presentations, problem solving Microsoft word conundrums, coordinating travel arrangements together with some diary management. This is a dynamic position where attention to detail is key and a flexible approach makes you an essential part of the whole team's success.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with fee proposals, time recording, WIP, forecasting, billing, and debt management on E&P projects. Work with the Finance team to report on the financial health of E&P projects. Work as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard Provide administration, coordination, data analysis, reporting and document control including minute taking and preparing team presentations Be able to take client instruction and communicate project programme to key stakeholders. Ensure the levels of quality and accuracy meet with company and client requirements through good record keeping, meeting notes and comprehensive file updates Assist the team with identifying and reporting on resource risk and utilisation. Assist the team to conduct quality control reviews and implement improvements as necessary. Work with the team/clients to manage changes within the projects, ensuring that change control processes are followed and that changes align with the project's strategic objectives. Assist the team to implement a stakeholder management and communication plan across the projects in line with the company standards and ensure it is adhered to. Work with the team to identify, assess, and report project risks. Assist the team to monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring a timely resolution. Assist the team to feed into business-wide lessons learned process, sharing insights from client projects to improve future workflow project delivery.

The Successful candidate will:



Be an excellent communicator with internal and external stakeholders Be highly organised and have a proactive approach to day-to-day tasks Have great IT skills & be confident with Microsoft products Be a great team player and have a can-do attitude Have good numeracy skills and financial understanding Be a keen problem solver with excellent attention to detail Have an appetite to learn and develop Ideally, have experience in using Microsoft Project for planning and scheduling.
