About Smartfits Installations Ltd



Smartfits Installations Ltd is a fast-growing, family-run business specialising in the delivery of vehicle tracking, camera, and fleet management solutions across the UK. We support customers through both installation-only services and fully managed supply-and-install solutions, working with leading technology platforms and manufacturers.

We work with major national clients as well as directly with businesses managing their own fleets, delivering professional, reliable, and scalable installation programmes.

Following recent growth and the award of several national contracts, we are expanding our Operations team and are looking for an organised and proactive

Project Coordinator

to support the delivery of large installation programmes.

The Role



As a

Project Coordinator

, you will support the delivery of larger installation projects. You will work closely with our

Field Operations Support Team

,

Installations team

, and

Customer-facing leads

to ensure projects run smoothly from planning through to completion.

This is a coordination and communication role -- ideal for someone who enjoys organising work, liaising with people, and keeping projects moving.

Please note:

This is not a senior Project Manager role. Budget ownership and senior commercial responsibility sit elsewhere in the business.

Key Responsibilities



Support the coordination of large installation projects across the UK Act as a central point of contact for project-related updates Liaise with the Field Operations Support Team on scheduling and capacity Track project progress and maintain clear records and updates Communicate with customers to confirm requirements and expectations Escalate risks or issues to senior team members when required Support reporting for internal and customer updates Work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery

What We're Looking For



Strong organisational and time-management skills Confident communication skills (phone, email, internal teams) Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities Good attention to detail Calm, solutions-focused approach Experience in coordination, administration, operations, or project support is desirable Experience in engineering, fleet, logistics, or field-based environments is an advantage but not essential
Full training will be provided.
