Job Description
Unusual Rigging Ltd is the leading supplier of rigging and technical solutions to the entertainment, exhibition, architectural and event industry.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our operations team as a project coordinator, supporting theatre projects, events and large scale spectaculars. The position is predominantly office based at our headquarters in Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire.
Essential Duties:
Assisting with the planning and coordination of Project Riggers. Providing administrative and operational support to the Project Riggers. Budgeting and purchasing/raising purchase orders. Costings. Logistics planning. Accommodation, Travel and Accreditation management. Communication with clients, suppliers, contractors and agencies. Working closely within the operations team and other key departments. On call cover for weekends, worked out on a rotational basis with the rest of the operations team.
Education & Experience:
High level organisational skills and ability to manage a number of projects at the same time. Ability to prioritise own workload. Strong communication skills. Well versed in IT skills for example Microsoft Office Suite, project management and asset tracking systems. An administrative or operational administrative background. Must be detail orientated.
