Record UK is part of the ASSA ABLOY Group who is one of the major companies within the automatic pedestrian door systems industry. The group manufactures and distributes door systems to over 70 countries worldwide.
We design, manufacture, supply, install and service automated door systems and aluminium shopfronts throughout the UK to a wide range of organisations and clients.
Due to continued growth and high demand for its services, the company is now seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to join the Installation Team in our expanding group based in Blantyre.
Working closely with the automatic door installers and project management team to facilitate collaborative co-ordination of installations, whilst maximising customer satisfaction.
The main requirements of the role are to:
1) Project Administration & Coordination
Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking project milestones and deliverables.
Maintain and update project documentation, reports, and registers (e.g., risk, issue, and change logs).
Assist in the coordination of meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
2) Communication & Stakeholder Support
Act as the main point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ensure clear and timely communication of project updates, schedules, and requirements.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow.
3) Administrative Support
Manage project correspondence, documentation filing systems, and data entry.
Support internal processes, invoice tracking, and budget documentation.
Maintain records in line with company policies and project governance standards.
4) Reporting & Documentation
Prepare regular progress reports and dashboards for management review.
Track project KPIs and timelines to identify potential delays or risks.
Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with quality standards.
Essential Criteria
Good organisational skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organizational and data management skills.
Experience in a project coordination or administrative support role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Speed of thought, prioritisation and decision making skills.
Good problem solving skills.
Sense of urgency to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
