ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
As a
Project Coordinator
you will work within the Borders SITA Portfolio and will be supporting the Technology and Engineering (T&E) Program Manager. The role involves a mixture of project management skills and some administration tasks to ensure the Program Manager can support the T&E department.
This is a great role to gain valuable learning from. The T&E Program Manager will support you closely offering mentoring to help progress skills and competencies to help progress careers.
The role will allow the successful candidate to sculpt their role to some degree and take on as much responsibility as they wish and are capable of performing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Supporting the T&E PMO function to track delivery
Prepare and present status reports on delivery status of software to stakeholders
Provide administration support to T&E software development teams
Assist in raising purchase orders for T&E
Day to day communication with Product and Delivery teams outside of T&E
Assist in financial tracking against T&E budgets
Documentation of customer projects requirements
Co-ordinate T&E recruitment processes
Tracking of time sheet bookings for T&E resources
Track T&E departmental Key Performance Indicators
Support delivery of internal T&E projects
Support administration and delivery of strategic projects
Qualifications:
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
1-2 years of experience in a similar role with some involvement in project delivery
Good knowledge of MS Office, Work, Excel and Teams and some knowledge of MS Project
Experience in Working in a team for a common goal
Honesty and transparency
Good written and verbal communication skills e.g. status reporting
Confidence to talk verbally to SITA employees to seek clarification, challenge and question colleagues
Good decision-making skills to enable quick escalation of concerns to Program Manager
Ability to work under pressure and reliably complete tasks regularly without fail
Ability to self-reflect and make improvements
Willing to voice their own opinions to make improvements within PMO and make recommendations to solve problems rather than always ask for solutions from others
NICE-TO-HAVE
University degree or equivalent experience
Formal project management training and certification - PMP desired but not mandatory
Experience in working in technical PMO
Some knowledge of using Azure DevOps tool
Some financial experience in tracking budget
Previous involvement in risk and issue management
