THE ROLE
We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.
Reporting to the Projects Co-Ordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of multiple projects, ensuring our sites are well-coordinated and our clients receive excellent service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing project administration from inception through to completion
Running small to medium-sized projects independently
Ordering materials and equipment for ongoing projects
Coordinating and organising site workers to ensure projects run to schedule
Acting as a key point of contact for suppliers, maintaining strong relationships
Processing and monitoring costs versus budgets to ensure financial control
Liaising with clients in a professional and client-facing capacity
Maintaining accurate project documentation and records
Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties as required
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in project administration or coordination, ideally within the construction or fit-out industry
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft 365
Experience in running small to medium-sized projects
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and a confident, client-facing manner
Experience dealing with suppliers and managing orders
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Attention to detail, particularly when processing costs and budgets
