Purpose of the role:



The Production Controller is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating manufacturing activities to meet production targets. The role involves working closely with factory teams, creating and managing production schedules and ensuring that the finished product meets both customer requirements and fire rating standards.

Key responsibilities:



- Liaise with customers to determine job specifications and ensure these are reflected in accurate paperwork trails.

- Use AutoCad to create drawings for customer and internal use.

- Develop and maintain production schedules using Klaes to meet customer demand and organizational goals.

- Communicate production schedules and changes to relevant departments, including factory teams, buying, and management.

- Produce cutting sheets for factory use.

- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure the availability of necessary resources.

- Liaise with factory teams to ensure products are being made to the highest standards, including customer requirements and any other relevant standards.

- Have a good working knowledge of the fire door industry and work towards keeping up to date on industry changes.

- Ensure that customer service is maintained to the highest standards, proactively tackling issues or order changes with customers.

- A good working knowledge of the fire door industry.

- Ability to adapt to changing demands and work in a fast-paced environment.

- A good awareness of health and safety.

- Ability to follow strict processes and procedures.

- Great attention to detail and the ability to identify errors.

- Good customer service skills.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.60-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

Ludlow SY8 2BT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Work Location: In person
