Equans is looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join our team in Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week from 08:00 to 16:00 with a 30 minute unpaid break. On offer is an excellent salary and benefits package.







As a Project Co-ordinator, you are a driven individual who can add expertise and dimension to the projects team. You will be able to demonstrate flexibility and efficiency in responding to a changing workload and business imperatives while able to establish excellent working relationships within the existing team and clients alike. The role is pivotal to the development of a synergised approach across the account for Capital Projects project delivery, a visible function that works closely with all parts of the project delivery process and external bodies requiring input from the team.

What will you deliver?






Coordinate and lead the administration function of the Capital Projects delivery programme. Ensuring that all reporting tools including trackers are always up to date Working with the PM's, monitor contractors cost control procedures throughout the duration of the project including the Construction Phase, Final Account and Defects Maintenance Phase. Liaising with accounts function to close off works to budget, reporting to the Project Director with any deviations. Continually review process to aid improvements in capital project delivery Control the administration of the Gate 4 document and governance process, inputting data received from several bodies Be responsible for the production of OPEX costs for all project works Work with the team to ensure all work activities are carried out safely and in accordance with statutory and corporate regulations and legislation, Healthcare Standards and Specifications To ensure that compliance is maintained in accordance with certification associated with all projects (instructions, payment certification, completion certification, etc.) Work with the team to ensure we deliver total project management, ensuring all 'Projects' are managed, operated, and completed with uncompromised efficiency, on time and to budget Liaise with the finance team and be responsible for the update of the project trackers, including all payment applications and client updates Assist in the monitoring of project finances, including monthly finance updates To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures Have good communication with suppliers and sub-contractors Responsible for the updating of the Maximo system in relation to removing and adding of assets, training will be provided

Who are we looking for?






Excellent written and verbal communications skills and interpersonal skills are necessary Strong administration experience & skills are essential Driven individual who can communicate with stakeholders at every level Experience of working with internal and external customers is required and candidates must take a customer service-oriented approach. The ability to manipulate Excel spread sheets and work with Word and PowerPoint documents to intermediate / advanced level The ability to gather, collect, record, track and verify relatively complex data and information from multiple sources Good understanding of finance processes and procedures Good project management skills, to manage activities with limited direction from others and be able to prepare and track basic timelines for multiple projects simultaneously



This role includes a standard DBS check therefore ability to pass is essential.
