The role





We have an exciting opportunity for a

Project Coordinator

to join our successful Water team based from our head office in Bamber Bridge, Preston. In this role, you'll support the smooth delivery of projects by coordinating communication, maintaining key documentation, and assisting both technical and project management teams.

Responsibilities include:



Maintain and manage the project workload spreadsheet, ensuring accuracy and updates in real time. Act as a key point of contact for clients, coordinating project timelines, updates, and resource planning. Support the Estimating team with the preparation and submission of project documentation. Communicate effectively with internal teams via phone and email, relaying messages and important project details as needed. Organise and store project information systematically within our shared digital filing system. Coordinate site access requests for surveys and installations following established procedures. Carry out general administrative duties including document filing (both physical and digital), photocopying, message taking, and document control. Update and maintain various project related spreadsheets daily, such as trackers and batch coordination sheets. Liaise with engineers to gather updates on survey and installation progress, reporting findings to management. Prepare and submit weekly progress reports to relevant managers. Provide ad-hoc support to Project Managers as needed.

Skills:



Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks Experience in a project or administrative support role
