Job Purpose



The purpose of this role is development, delivery and implementation of all aspects of work relating to the housing and care project Services for women, children and young people, men and older people affected by housing and care needs in the community. contributes as Project Coordinator to meeting the aims and objectives of the project delivery

Main Duties



Responsible under the direction of the Operations Director for planning, development, monitoring, evaluation and reviewing of service delivery and standards.

Responsible for providing team leadership, and taking day to day responsibility for operational decisions, planning, development, monitoring and review of the project services.

Provide support and supervision for the Project Staff Team.

Report to the CEO and attend management meetings as required.

Attend and report to the Board of Directors when required.

As part of the management team provide cover for the Operations Director for periods of annual leave, sickness or absence.

Key Responsibilities



1 Supervisory Responsibilities

1.1 Provide day-to-day support and supervision to the Project staff team.

1.2 Provide regular line management support, one to one's and appraisals, including case work supervision and support to accommodation and other allocated staff.

1.3 Facilitate staffs reflective practice through day -to -day support and supervision.

1.4 Ensure the effective management of the Housing and Care projects, referrals, their allocation, staff workloads and programme delivery.

1.5 Ensure the practical and emotional needs etc. of service users, are met through the provision of key work, appropriate activities and development opportunities.

1.6 Hold regular case management meetings and others as appropriate.

1.7 Providing specialist support and knowledge to other staff to ensure child protection and adult safeguarding issues are dealt with appropriately, under the guidance of the Operations Director.

1.9 Ensure Support Plans and Support Plan Reviews are completed for individual service users identifying their support needs.

1.10 Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed including risk assessments, safety plans and DASH risk assessments.

1.11 Attend and manage the attendance to professional meetings including MARAC.

1.12 Audit case files to maintain quality standards.

1.13 Ensure that an anti-discriminatory and non-directive approach is taken by staff.

1.14 Promote the participation of women, children and young people, men and older adults in the running and development of the project services.

1.15 Ensure that all provisions is appropriate, with regard individual's cultural, religious and/or additional needs and promote positive images of all sections of society. Work and promote equality of opportunity in all aspects of the work.

1.16 Liaise and work in partnership with other agencies, developing protocols to develop services to meet the needs of women, children and young people, men and older people supported by the projects.

1.17 Provide support worker role, to provide advocacy and support for service users, develop such one to one support that would help service user to understand and recover from their experience as and when required.

1.18 Support the Director of operations with recruitment and selection process for Project service staff and ensure staffing levels are adequate and maintained to provide an effective service for service users.

1.19 To hold your own case load

1.20 To hold registered Manager status

2 Women's /Men's properties

2.1 Ensure the stock of resources and equipment is monitored and maintained

2.3 Ensure all relevant health and safety checks are completed

2.4 Ensure the environment is such to enable women, children and young people to relax and express their needs.

2.5 Develop and maintain provision for Male and Female service users.

3 Administration

3.1 Assist with the preparation of in-house information and publicity materials.

3.2 Contribute to reports for the management group, including the annual report.

3.3 Completion of monthly returns, maintaining records and statistics.

3.4 Ensure that appropriate evidence is collated and recorded to contribute to relevant Quality Standards

3.5 Ensure that records are appropriate and kept up to date in line with data protection legislation.

3.6: Monitor and respond to referrals, calls enquiries

4 Policies

4.1 To contribute to the review and development of appropriate policies and procedures and the development of best practice.

4.2 Implement the policies and procedures

4.3 Maintaining confidentiality throughout on all issues.

4.4 Comply with internal and external regulations, procedures and other requirements in relation to the organisation, its services and facilities.

5 Personal and Professional Development

5.1 Attend and participate in regular team meetings and supervision.

5.2 Complete the induction package and undertake other relevant training and professional development.

5.3 Undertake relevant training and professional development.

5.4 Maintain a working knowledge of law and practice relating to housing act Care act 2014, CQC, HHRRS, the family, safeguarding and any other relevant areas.

5.5 Contribute to the delivery of group programme facilitation, presentations and facilitation of training as required.

5.6 To complete relevant training to the role and work towards a L5 in adult care if required

6 Other

6.1 Work within the Regional and National network of the local authorities, commissioners and any other agency

6.2 Provide day-to-day support to students, designated workers and volunteers.

6.3 To undertake duties as required by the Director of Operations / Management Group commensurate with the grade of the post.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Work Location: In person
