As a Project Co-ordinator at EPS, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of electrical engineering consultancy projects across the UK and international. This role is essential in bridging communication between engineering, commercial, and project teams ensuring accurate project planning, documentation, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. You will assist in managing project variations, coordinating internal processes, and supporting Lead Engineers with essential project documentation and updates.
Key Responsibilities
Transfer approved CTR (Cost Time Resource) sheets into time writing software to enable accurate time tracking and cost reporting.
Update project management software to reflect scope changes, variations, and deliverable adjustments.
Request updated or new CTRs from engineers as required by project changes or commercial instructions.
Complete and maintain Kick-off Meeting notes using template checklists to support Lead Engineers.
Coordinate between engineering and commercial teams to monitor project variations and ensure alignment.
Liaise with the Contract Manager and Quantity Surveyors to support the Management of Change (MoC) process.
Interpret client requirements and assist in drafting Scope of Work (SoW) documents that align with project objectives and technical capabilities.
Update project timelines and deliverable dates using Microsoft Project when changes occur.
Complete vendor questionnaires and coordinate responses with technical leads as required.
Assist in tracking progress, maintaining communication across departments, and flagging potential risks or issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
Qualification / Experience
Proven experience in a project coordination or project support role, preferably within engineering, construction, or technical consultancy sectors.
Understanding of project management principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and MS Project.
Experience working with project management and time tracking software.
