Job Description

Join our team as a Project Coordinator and play a key role in supporting project delivery across service delivery and education-focused projects. Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery & Project Manager, you will take direction and independently organise, coordinate, and manage tasks to ensure projects run smoothly and clients receive a professional, well-supported experience.

The role also works closely with the Head of IT for Education & Education Project Manager, providing direct support on education projects, compliance requirements, and strategic initiatives. You will help ensure education customers are well served, compliant, and positioned for growth, while maintaining strong coordination with service delivery operations.

The position includes occasional client meetings or site visits to build rapport, support delivery, and represent the business. This is an exciting opportunity with clear room for progression, offering exposure to both operational delivery and education strategy within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities



Project Coordination & Delivery Support

Receive tasks and direction from the Head of Service Delivery & Project Manager and efficiently organise, prioritise, and complete all actions without repeated instruction. Translate high-level direction into structured plans, schedules, checklists, trackers, and follow-up actions. Coordinate internal teams, engineers, and suppliers to ensure all activities remain aligned and on schedule. Maintain oversight of deadlines, dependencies, risks, and outstanding actions, escalating concerns promptly. Keep relevant stakeholders informed with concise, accurate updates and summaries. Serve as the central point of coordination across service delivery and education projects, ensuring information is shared accurately and consistently.
Education Project & Strategy Support

Directly support the Head of IT for Education & Education Project Manager with education-specific projects and initiatives. Assist with the coordination and delivery of education projects, including onboarding, upgrades, and change initiatives within schools. Support adherence to DfE standards, safeguarding requirements, and education-specific policies and frameworks. Maintain awareness of compliance requirements affecting schools and ensure relevant actions, documentation, and follow-ups are completed. Assist with education strategy management by tracking initiatives, opportunities, and actions aligned to school growth and improvement. Help identify, track, and support opportunities within existing education clients in collaboration with senior leadership.
Client Experience & Communication

Support the delivery of a consistently positive client experience throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate professionally and clearly with clients, providing updates or gathering information as required. Attend client meetings or visit client sites occasionally to build rapport, support understanding, or represent the team when appropriate. Act as a reliable point of contact for clients, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and valued. Capture client feedback or concerns and relay them accurately to the appropriate project or departmental lead.
Administration, Reporting & Governance

Prepare agendas, attend meetings, take minutes, and track action items through to completion. Maintain organised, up-to-date project documentation, logs, and records. Produce reports, status updates, trackers, and dashboards with a high standard of accuracy. Support cost tracking, expenses, purchase orders, and logistics as required. Ensure project data, education compliance records, and supporting documentation are accurate and audit-ready.
Workload & Prioritisation

Effectively multitask and manage multiple priorities across service delivery and education projects. Ensure no tasks, deadlines, client needs, or compliance actions are overlooked. Work collaboratively across departments to balance competing priorities and support aligned delivery outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience in a project coordination role (required). Experience in an Managed IT Service Provider environment (desirable) Experience in an education environment (desirable) Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-facing manner. Ability to work independently after receiving instruction, with excellent follow-through. High attention to detail and confidence managing multiple moving parts. Experience using project management tools and software. Access to own vehicle and full UK driving licence (required).

Pay: 28,000.00-34,000.00 per year
