to join our team, where you will be collaboratively working as part of our Construction Team on all aspects of projects, from pricing and securing projects, through the design stage to completion on site.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver project planning and management in a timely manner, from initial enquiry stage with pricing projects, meeting with the office and workshop teams, external suppliers, contractors, and clients where necessary.
Co-ordinate timber frame design, liaising with architects and clients on their drawings, reviewing our timber frame design and engineering.
Co-ordinate sub-contractors and team members, and allocate relevant tasks
Collaboratively work with the full construction team, communicating throughout and updating on project progress.
Lead by example, continuing to set benchmarks in company standards, with focus on quality management through on going monitoring of the projects progress and quality
Carry out site visits with other members of the team where necessary
Ensure all construction team comply with Health & Safety regulations, conducting regular spot checks on site and in the factory
Who we are looking for:
Essential Skills and Experience:
2 years' experience in the construction industry
An understanding of construction drawings
Proficient using Microsoft Office
Ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate others
Ability to prioritise tasks and delegate to others when necessary
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Eye for continual improvement of internal processes
Full UK Driving Licence
Desired:
Undergraduate Degree
Qualification in Project Management
Qualification in Lean Management
Experience using AutoCad

PYC is a family run business located in a beautiful area of Mid Wales, based in our certified PassivHaus office, next to our purpose-built workshop. We design and manufacture timber frame buildings, using a closed panel system that our in-house team deliver and install on site.
