Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing The Music, The Sound, The Legacy National Lottery Heritage Funded Project.

Duration: 2-year fixed-term contract

Hours: Full-time

Salary: 25,500 per annum

Reporting to: Heritage Development Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Manage project marketing and publicity, including social media, press releases, and promotional materials. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and correspondence. Coordinate logistics for events, interviews, and workshops. Assist in budget management and financial reporting. Develop and maintain project documentation and progress reports. Liaise with external vendors and service providers. Support the Heritage Development Officer in day-to-day project operations. Assist in the creation of educational materials and resources. Manage the project's digital presence, including website updates and online archives. Coordinate volunteer activities and maintain a volunteer database.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in project coordination or administrative roles. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in marketing and social media management. Experience with budget tracking and financial reporting. Familiarity with project management software and tools. Knowledge of Caribbean culture and history is beneficial.
