Job Description

Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater. Hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week on site.

Are you someone with a technical engineering background looking for your next opportunity? Are you looking for a career that is rewarding, and where you can be part of the revitalisation of the UK\'s nuclear power industry?

If so, join us as a Project Engineer and you\'ll join one of the most exciting and ambitious projects within EDF.

The Opportunity\xe2\x80\xa6

At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK, which when complete will provide low carbon electricity for around six million homes.

We are looking for a Project Engineer who will report into a Commissioning Manager and support them in maintaining sufficient oversight and control over commissioning processes, ensuring we are delivering our programme safely and compliantly in order to effectively commission Hinkley Point C.

Due to the complexities and changing requirements of the project, the commissioning team will have to evolve throughout its lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to the defining of commissioning processes, and support the recruitment, training, and development of suitably qualified and experienced personnel to support this.

We\'re committed to equality, diversity and inclusion. We\'d like our future workforce to have an equal gender balance, represent a broad mix of people from minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, those with a disability and supporting social mobility.

We\'re a disability confident employer and we\'ll do all we can to help with your application, making adjustments as you need.

We\'ll value the difference you bring and offer opportunities for you to thrive and succeed.
