We design, manufacture, and install Ventilation ductwork throughout the UK. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented HVAC Project Engineer to join the team.
Background
We are looking for a HVAC Project Engineer, ideally with experience in Ventilation/sheet metal works. CAD/BIM experience is essential, preferable in AutoDesk Revit, or alternatively in Autocad FabMEP. The role will have full training and mentoring provided by experience engineers with many years' experience. The Project Engineer should be capable of attending sites across the UK occasionally to survey and then producing a workable general arrangement drawing for proposal. They should also be comfortable with taking the general arrangement drawing and completing a full set of manufacturing drawings for the fabrication shop. It is crucial for the role to be able to work using own initiative and able to work under pressure whilst producing accurate comprehensive manufacturing details.
Duties
Produce Engineering Drawings in Revit for manufacture and installation of ductwork.
Product schedules from BIM model for ordering materials.
Find engineering solutions to problems.
Control and distribute documentation & data in accordance with the requirements of the project.
Liaise with factory to arrange manufacture.
Issue Purchase Orders.
Organise deliveries .
Storage of incoming and outgoing project documentation using document management system.
Essential Skills
Engineering based qualification.
CAD/BIM experience.
CAM knowledge (desirable).
Good IT Skills.
Understanding of Specifications.
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes of metal parts.
Good at problem solving.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
