Enverse is hiring a Project Engineer to deliver Innovate UK-funded energy audits for manufacturing sites. You'll run the full cycle: target and contact factories, lead scoping calls, carry out on-site audits, analyse data, and deliver clear, quantified recommendations to cut kWh, and CO?e. The role is London-based or fully remote. You'll work closely with the CEO.
You will help execute two industrial energy analysis projects. This is a hands-on technical/consulting role that works directly with end users to deliver a scalable, cloud-based application that optimises on-site energy consumption. You'll gather data, assess major loads (e.g., boilers/steam, process heat, HVAC/chillers, compressed air), build baselines, and present practical savings measures.
We're a startup--fast-moving, practical, and outcomes-driven. Strong mechanical fundamentals and a willingness to talk to customers, visit plants, and learn quickly are essential.
We are not able to sponsor visa sponsorship and would only accept applicants with rights to work in the UK
Prospecting & outreach: Build and run cold email/phone outreach to manufacturing sites; book intro and scoping calls.
Client qualification & pitching: Run 20-45 minute video calls to explain the audit scope, gather baseline info, and convert to site visits
On-site audits: Walk the plant to map major loads (boilers/steam, process heat/ovens, HVAC/chillers, compressed air, motors/VFDs, lighting, power factor/BMS).
Data collection: Pull utility bills, half-hourly data, BMS/SCADA exports; deploy temporary loggers where useful.
Analysis & savings: Build baselines and simple load profiles; quantify measures with kWh, , CO?e savings and payback.
Recommendations & reporting: Produce short, sharp reports and slides with no-cost/low-cost/capex measures and an implementation plan.
Follow-up: Present findings, handle objections, and move clients to next steps (pilots/implementation).
Project delivery: Keep a clean CRM pipeline, visit notes, risk assessments, and H&S compliance.
Travel: UK site travel as required (typically day trips; occasional overnights)
