Re-Mech (UK) Ltd is a service business for specialist re-engineering, manufacture and repair of rotating equipment. The main client base is within the Oil & Gas industry supporting their needs for compressors, pumps, steam turbines and gearboxes.
To continue with the Companies expansion and to support our commitment to quality and service we require a project engineer to join the engineering team.
Assessment of rotating equipment received for overhaul.
Management of overhaul and refurbishment projects for rotating equipment.
Generate working instructions to ensure projects progress in a controlled manner.
To support the Operations Manager and Project Manager.
Contribute to the development of Company processes and procedures.
Population, and amendment, of project bill of material to job system.
Preparation of final reports for Clients.
Support the Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety policies.
Degree in mechanical engineering
Preferably min 2 years experience in the servicing of rotating equipment.
CAD experience preferable.
Knowledge of general engineering drawing practice.
IT competent
Strong communication skills
Reliable and punctual.
Flexible attitude.
Able to work as part of a team.
Customer Service focused.
It is preferred that the successful candidate with have experience in a similar role, but this is not essential.
37 hour working week
o Monday to Thursday 07.45 - 16.15
o Friday 07.45 - 12.45
Annual pay review plus additional incentive based on personal annual appraisal.
