Summary

The Project Engineer supports the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects by coordinating technical activities, ensuring project requirements are met, and facilitating communication between engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders. This role combines technical expertise with project management skills to help deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering projects from concept through completion. Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, operations, procurement, and quality. Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and support mitigation strategies. Prepare and maintain project reports, status updates, and documentation. Support procurement activities by evaluating technical bids, preparing requisitions, and working with suppliers. Perform site visits to monitor construction, installation, or commissioning activities. Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and industry standards. Assist in managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost control. Provide technical support during troubleshooting, design changes, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or related field). 1-5 years of experience in engineering or project coordination preferred. Knowledge of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and technical documentation. Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
