This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the premier aerospace engineering businesses in the Wolverhampton area as a Project Engineer within their already strong team.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for both New Product Introduction (NPI) and product improvement activities, whilst utilising your strong project management skills.

Your duties will encapsulate not only the technical aspects of projects within a set program, but also ensure that cost and schedule is maintained whilst always providing first class communication to the end client.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing this alongside an outstanding team of engineers for one of the leaders in this field globally.

Responsibilities

• Technical interface with the customer on project progression.
• Managing the customer relationship throughout project lifecycle.
• Apply Common Development Process for NPI and product improvement projects.
• Accountability for ensuring projects multiple projects are delivered on time and on budget.
• Delivery of all technical documentation to the customer.
• Ensuring projects are meeting the strict client specifications.
• Management of scope changes that occur during the projects.

Person Background

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical, Systems or Aerospace Engineering.
• Capable of overing multiple high value projects in sync.
• Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) Processes.
• Understanding of hydraulic actuation components.
• Strong commercial acumen to manage cost and scheduling.
• Strong communications skills
