Project Estimator
Job Description
We're looking for a thoughtful and creative individual to join our team. The successful applicant will interpret project drawings and provide estimations for the group services including, fire suppression, solar pv, heat pumps, underfloor heating and screed. Working with our designing team, you'll understand plumbing, electrical and building terminology, be technically inquisitive and have a structured, thorough approach to your work.
The Successful candidate will initially be trained on knowledge of the products/services QSD offer, and then in drawing, designing and quoting these systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate project specifications and drawings to provide accurate and competitive quotes. Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and tailor estimates accordingly. Communicate effectively with clients to clarify project details and ensure their needs are met. Follow up on quotes to answer client inquiries and address any concerns. Maintain and update records of all quotes and correspondence in our CRM system. Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive and profitable quoting. Work closely with project managers and other departments to ensure smooth project handovers once a job is won. Prepare and present detailed proposals and reports to clients and management.

Requirements:
Proven experience in sales and estimating, preferably in construction. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
