Join Nationwide's mission to protect members' money and data whilst delivering enterprise security capabilities that truly make a difference.
We are looking to recruit a Project Manager (Delivery Manager) for our Security & Resilience Integration team within Change Delivery & Performance (CD&P).
This role has 3 main areas of focus and responsibility: resourcing for delivery, enabling delivery, and the delivery of initiatives.
A Delivery Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of small or medium size change initiatives through the lifecycle from inception to closedown - this will involve scoping, planning, managing, estimating and delivering change initiatives.
Nationwide Technology is part of the Resilience & Agility Community and brings together a single, end-to-end technology team to truly integrate the design and build of technology services, to power the society. Under the leadership of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Nationwide Technology provides technology change and run services for the Society, supporting Missions and Communities to deliver greater value to our customers and members.
CD&P is established within Nationwide Technology under the Chief Performance Officer, who is part of the SLT.
The role that we're recruiting for is within Security Transformation working on the Cyber Security portfolio of changes that serve to protect members' money and data. We aim to deliver enterprise security capabilities that protect Nationwide, our Members' and colleagues' assets, provision legendary security services and enable the Society to operate safely and securely.
This role would ideally suit a colleague with an interest in or experience of working in Cyber Security or alternatively an existing delivery manager that has supported networks, systems and platforms through delivery of change and enhancement to maximise our security controls frameworks.
We'll ideally need you to be an experienced change professional, with a proven history of delivering complex change. You'll have experience of delivering change to both the technology landscape and business practices to ensure initiatives fully realise their benefits.
We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.
At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our London or Swindon office. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here.
This role is a 12 month fixed-term contract.
If we receive a high volume of relevant applications, we may close the advert earlier than the advertised date, so please apply as soon as you can.
