Project Manager - Asset Optimisation

to help shape the future of our property portfolio.


your day might begin by reviewing the performance of void properties and planning your week's inspections. You'll gather data from across the business to conduct detailed options appraisals, balancing financial, social, and compliance factors to determine the best course of action. Later, you might review leases and schedules of dilapidations, helping prepare legal packs and building a robust case for disposal.


You'll be at the heart of Peabody's mission, driving our new group strategy forward by identifying underperforming assets and building a pipeline of approvals that support our disposal targets.


We're looking for a confident, driven, and highly organised individual. You'll enjoy working across departments, building meaningful relationships, and managing complex projects with precision.

As a Project Manager - Asset Optimisation

you will have a strong understanding of property performance, compliance, and market analysis. You'll also have an eye for detail and ability to balance hands-on inspections with high-level strategic thinking.


This role covers all aspects of asset optimisation--everything from helping to identify and assess poorly performing properties, using social and economic criteria and market analysis, to reviewing routes to market and determining sale prices. You'll liaise with external partners, ensure all aspects of property disposal meet compliance standards, and provide regular, accurate updates to internal stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you're:



Project Management experience: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and deliver results on time Property Knowledge: Understanding of asset performance, property disposal processes, and market dynamics Analytical Skills: Comfortable working with data, conducting options appraisals and property inspections, and making evidence-based recommendations Attention to Detail: Skilled in reviewing leases, schedules of dilapidations, and legal documentation with precision. Stakeholder Engagement: Confident communicator who can build relationships across departments and with external partners Compliance Awareness: Familiar with regulatory standards and a commitment to ensuring all disposals meet legal and financial requirements Initiative & Drive: A proactive mindset with a passion for achieving tangible outcomes and contributing to strategic goals
