Project Manager

Competitive salary dependent on experience plus company car or allowance.

Due to growth and internal reorganisation, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the team at our Head Office in Bathgate. The role will primarily focus on the successful delivery of full turnkey projects. This will consist of assisting the Sales Managers pre-order to delivery, liaising closely with Design, M&E and Operational Departments right through to completion.

What's involved

Assisting the sales team as required to progress enquires to order stage Manage projects at contract award stage through to handover Liaising closely with all technical departments, i.e. health and safety, fabrication and operational departments Sub-contractor procurement, liaising closely with sub-contractors during the whole life cycle of the project Assisting operations, including site survey's, methodology on installation, creating programme of works Chairing in-house meetings / Team's calls Attending site meetings as required, pre-contract, pre-start, progress or handovers Daily progress updates with on-site teams and reporting back to operations Supporting Quantity Surveyor and accounts in preparation of valuations Furthering new and existing relationships with reliable sub-contractors across the UK Establish good relationships with clients and all key stakeholders with a view to securing repeat business Reporting to Senior Projects Manager The role will include other such duties deemed necessary in order to ensure successful delivery of the project
The role requires travel in and around the UK, therefore a full UK clean driving licence is required.

Your experience

Held a similar role in a similar / construction industry for a minimum of 5 years on contracts between 100k and 10m in value with a reputable contractor The capability to manage multiple projects at the same time Must have the ability to work effectively under pressure and be able to react to changing priorities Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and other construction H&S standards Familiarity with Contracts would be advantageous but not essential IT Literacy on Microsoft products, MS Project Experience using AutoCAD advantageous Construction design background would be helpful both structures and civils Experience with cost monitoring / cost control

Your qualifications

Full UK clean driving licence Qualified to degree level, minimum HND, or qualified by experience SMSTS and CSCS card advantageous

The hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with a 1hr break. Hours may be negotiable for the right candidate.
