Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Residential Solar Project Manager

to oversee the successful delivery of home solar projects from contract to PTO (Permission to Operate). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the unique challenges of residential solar installations.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple residential solar projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and code-compliant delivery. Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with internal departments: sales, marketing, accounts and installation crews. Oversee site surveys, system design reviews, and utility/interconnection applications. Monitor and drive progress through project milestones: permit approval, materials delivery, install scheduling, inspections, and final sign-off. Anticipate project challenges and proactively resolve scheduling, logistical, or client issues. Maintain accurate records in CRM or project management software and report project status to leadership weekly. Ensure compliance with MCS codes and DNO requirements.

Skills

Strong understanding of product management principles and practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences. Demonstrated experience in cost control techniques and budget management. Proven team management skills with an emphasis on collaboration and motivation. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining focus on project goals. Familiarity with systems integration and process optimisation is advantageous.

Pay: 25,916.92-39,500.50 per year
