Join Southern Housing as a Project Manager and oversee the efficient demobilisation of existing contracts and the mobilisation of new long-term capital investment contracts across our homes.


In this role you will coordinate and manage the demobilisation of expiring contracts, ensuring all obligations are fulfilled and documentation is archived appropriately. You will lead the mobilisation of new long-term contracts, including contractor onboarding, system setup, and alignment with organisational goals, while maintaining accurate and timely updates to asset management systems and other internal platforms.


You will monitor and report on key performance indicators related to contract transitions and collaborate closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure smooth handovers with minimal service disruption. You will manage financial reconciliation and final account agreements, support procurement and contract management in compliance checks and documentation reviews and maintain high standards of customer care and communication with residents. You will also provide technical advice and support to colleagues, assist in continuous improvement initiatives, and provide cover for other Project Managers as needed.


This role will be based in our Farringdon office and offers hybrid working arrangements between office and work from home. This role is offered on

What you'll need:




Essential experience in managing contract mobilisation and demobilisation activities within housing or construction sectors Experienced and qualified property maintenance professional with detailed knowledge of housing construction, component replacement and budget control and management Knowledge and experience with administering various industry standard forms of contracts (TAC/JCT/TPC etc.) and schedule of rates Experience in financial reconciliation and documentation management for closing out contracts Ability to use the appropriate IT tools to produce reports, documents, emails, including using Excel and Word to compile reports for different audiences Strong negotiating and influencing skills, be persuasive and diplomatic while remaining independent
