JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible to the Building Services Manager for ensuring the NIHE is fully compliant with its statutory and regulatory duties to its customers, employees, and third parties and to assist in the management and co-ordination of the planned and cyclical servicing and maintenance programme for the specialist mechanical and electrical equipment in NIHE Offices, Depots, High Rise Residential Blocks and Hostels.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. i) Degree or equivalent (level 6*) qualification in a relevant** technical qualification, relevant to any of the compliance areas managed by this role PLUS a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience***
OR
ii) BTEC Higher Certificate/Diploma in a relevant** technical qualification or equivalent qualification* relevant to any of the compliance areas managed by this role PLUS a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience***
OR
iii) Candidates who do not possess the qualifications above but can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development and experiential learning in any of the compliance areas managed by this role PLUS a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience*** (Please include dates)

**A relevant qualification would be a qualification in a Building Services (Mechanical/Electrical) Discipline
***Relevant experience will be interpreted as experience in at least one of the following compliance areas: Heating Systems, Electrical Safety, Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Detector and Lifting Equipment (including servicing and LOLER), in policy development, management or operational delivery
