Project Manager
Location: Maidenhead or London (Hybrid)
Salary: 50,000 to 65,000 + benefits
Working pattern: 3 days per week office based, 2 days remote

About the Role
An established, growing property and construction consultancy is looking to expand its Project Management team with experienced Project Managers based within commuting distance of Maidenhead or London .
This is a client-facing, professional consultancy role, managing multiple projects simultaneously across programmes nationwide. Projects typically range from 100k to 3m , with involvement across all stages of delivery. The organisation currently has circa 400 live projects and is continuing to scale, with several new starters already joining the team.
You will work closely with public sector clients, particularly within central government, helping to deliver complex programmes through structured, well-governed project management.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day delivery of multiple construction and property projects
Acting as the primary client interface and building long-term client relationships
Developing and implementing project management strategies and delivery plans
Establishing and maintaining effective project controls, systems and reporting
Producing feasibility studies, cost plans and optioneering reports
Managing change control, risk management and value management processes
Coordinating procurement strategies and working with the supply chain
Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and designers
Managing sub-consultants and construction managers
Chairing and attending project meetings
Supporting governance, programme reporting and assurance requirements
Contributing to team development, mentoring and best practice sharing
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Proven experience as a Project Manager within a professional consultancy environment
Experience delivering multiple projects concurrently
Background in public sector projects (central government experience desirable)
Strong understanding of NEC contracts (essential)
Experience across pre- and post-contract stages
Commercially astute with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working across programmes and reporting into senior client teams
Able to manage complexity, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Excellent written, verbal and reporting skills
Confident, professional and credible in client-facing environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Qualifications
Degree-qualified or equivalent experience
Working towards or already holding a professional qualification (e.g. RICS, APM, CIOB or similar)
Commitment to ongoing professional development
