Project Manager - The Converters Group

Location: Dunfermline, Fife

Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 plus commission/bonus

Hours: Full-Time, Permanent

The Converters Group is one of Scotland's leading home improvement companies, specialising in high-quality home extensions, garage conversions, conservatory upgrades, insulated roofs, and a full range of home improvement solutions.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint a full-time Project Manager to oversee our expanding workload across extensions, conversions, and wider home improvement installations.

This is a key hands-on role, managing projects from initial enquiry and quotation through to installation and customer sign-off. You'll be responsible for delivering excellent service, managing trades and timelines, and ensuring each project meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee the full project lifecycle across extensions, garage conversions, roof replacements, and other home improvements Carry out site surveys and work with our estimating team to prepare accurate customer quotations Liaise directly with customers throughout the project to ensure clear communication and satisfaction Plan and coordinate materials, trades, and timelines to deliver projects on time and on budget Work with architects, building control, and internal teams where required Monitor quality and resolve any issues or changes quickly and professionally Keep detailed records of each job and provide internal updates and reporting

Requirements

:

Experience in project managing home extensions, conversions, or domestic construction projects Strong understanding of building regs, construction methods, and site operations Organised, calm under pressure, and capable of managing multiple projects at once Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working with drawings, schedules, and job management systems Full UK driving licence is essential
