The Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering projects within EET Fuels' project portfolio, managing the full lifecycle from concept through to closure. The role ensures that projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
A key part of the position involves implementing the Project Assurance Process and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to support successful outcomes.
Principal Accountabilities:
Manage projects of varying size and complexity throughout their lifecycle
Deliver assigned capital projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the agreed specification
Provide leadership within the project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability
Ensure clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including Production Units, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Contractors, and international colleagues
Align project teams with overall project objectives and ensure requirements are clearly understood
Oversee the Project Assurance process for your projects, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices
Ensure safety and design reviews are carried out when required, and that any issued identified are resolved in a timely manner.
Develop and agree execution strategies for engineering, procurement, contracts, and construction with relevant parties
Review and validate multi-discipline cost estimates and support project scheduling
Collaborate with the Construction Management team to ensure safe and efficient project execution
About You
We're looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in project delivery within the process industries (Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, or similar high-hazard / upper-tier COMAH environments).
You will ideally hold an engineering degree or have substantial experience. Chartered Engineer status is desirable but not essential.
With a proven track record of successfully leading similar projects, you are confident navigating established project delivery and assurance frameworks. Similarly, you will be familiar with the safety and design review processes typical within the petrochemical or comparable sectors.
Experience in supporting large-scale maintenance turnarounds or shutdowns will be advantageous.
