About the Role



We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects from concept through to completion. In this role, youll oversee multidisciplinary project teams, manage client relationships, control budgets, and ensure technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.



The ideal candidate has a solid engineering background and proven experience managing complex projects in [insert relevant field: e.g., civil, mechanical, industrial, or electrical] engineering environments.



Key Responsibilities



Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects in line with company and client objectives.

Lead project teams across multiple disciplines (design, procurement, construction, QA/QC).

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.

Monitor project progress and performance; implement corrective actions as needed.

Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Ensure projects comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Prepare project reports and present updates to senior management and clients.

Manage risk assessments, mitigation plans, and change requests effectively.


Requirements



Essential:



Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

5+ years of experience managing engineering or construction projects.

Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and health & safety regulations.

Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent).

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.


Desirable:



PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.

Experience in [industry-specific projects, e.g., infrastructure, manufacturing, power plants].

Knowledge of contract management and commercial negotiations (e.g., FIDIC, NEC).
