What you'll be doing
As a member of the Estates Team reporting to the Director of Estates, you are responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of a variety of Estates Capital projects. You will be responsible for the project from inception to completion and ensure the projects are delivered on time and to agreed budgets.
You will also ensure projects comply with all legal, safety and environmental standards.
Working with the Estates Director, Central and Divisional teams to plan and develop the future strategic projects and programmes for the organisation in line with the group business plan. Supporting the development of business cases and plans to exploit current and future business opportunities.Managing projects from inception through to completion, which will involve preparing a schedule / scope of works, tendering, tender analysis, award of contracts, chairing regular site meetings and handover of the completed project to the operations team.
On larger scale projects, appoint third party professional consultants to form the project team and manage accordingly.

What you'll bring to the role
Educated to degree level with expert specialist knowledge of managing and delivering building and refurbishment projects.
Desirable - RICS, CIOB or MAPM qualified.
Knowledge of the Healthcare industry and associated environmental regulations.
Experience of delivering multiple, complex building/refurbishment projects simultaneously.
Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Comfortable when managing conflict and is able to challenge constructively.
Experience of identifying, assessing and managing complex risks and issues.
