Summary

We're looking for a hands-on, experienced Projects Manager to lead the delivery of small to medium-sized refurbishment projects, typically up to 1 million in value. This is a site-based role, ideal for someone who thrives on taking ownership -- from early client brief and design through to final handover.

What You'll Be Doing:

Deliver refurbishment and projects across public sector, and educational buildings. Manage the full project lifecycle -- from design coordination and pricing through to completion and handover. Liaise with clients, architects, and designers to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Coordinate with direct labour teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery. Oversee schedules, site logistics, and health & safety compliance. Ensure all works meet company quality standards and client expectations. Read and interpret technical drawings (CAD experience advantageous). Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience managing refurbishment projects, particularly in public sector and educational settings. Strong technical background in construction (hands-on experience ideal). Excellent communication and leadership skills -- confident dealing with clients and teams. Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, site-based environment. Full UK driving licence (essential).

Desirable:

A high-level qualification or degree in Construction Management or a related field.
