About Eclipse Energy:

Eclipse Energy is a leading retrofit specialist based in Halifax, delivering energy efficiency solutions to homes across the North of England. Our work focuses on helping households reduce energy bills, improve comfort, and lower carbon emissions through funded retrofit programmes such as ECO4 and the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS). We provide end-to-end services including assessment, design, installation, and compliance under PAS 2035.

We are committed to high standards of workmanship, regulatory compliance, and a customer-first approach.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly organised and delivery-focused Project Coordinator to support the rollout of Solar PV and battery storage systems across a large-scale housing retrofit programme. Working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives, the Project Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring installation works are planned, executed, and completed to high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

This role is central to managing the day-to-day coordination of installations -- from survey and system design through to handover and evidence submission -- ensuring clear communication, accurate reporting, and proactive issue resolution at every stage. The successful candidate will be confident liaising with stakeholders, managing risks, and tracking key performance metrics to ensure programme targets are achieved.

This is a varied and fast-paced role suited to someone with experience in renewable energy, construction, or retrofit delivery who thrives on collaboration, problem-solving, and operational delivery. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to improving energy efficiency and decarbonising homes across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation Management

Oversee day-to-day delivery of Solar PV and battery storage systems, ensuring scheduled installs are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, site managers, and installation teams, confirming readiness, material availability, and clear scope of works for each job. Carry out spot-checks and site visits, ensuring quality, cleanliness, and professionalism from all delivery partners. Ensure all installations meet MCS and building regulations, with a focus on ensuring safe battery integration and system commissioning in line with current standards.

Quality, Compliance & Safety

Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with CDM and Health and Safety at Work Act and the required documentation is maintained on site. Ensure that all work is completed, aligned to the required regulations and legislation, working internal compliance and submissions teams to ensure all supporting documentation and evidence (e.g. install photos, commissioning records, system specs) are collected, reviewed, and submitted in a timely manner. Ensure that NAPIT standards and Health & Safety procedures are always followed on-site, with RAMS approved and understood by all subcontractors prior to works. Conduct quality assurance reviews and site audits to maintain consistency and resolve any workmanship or materials issues quickly. Support the compilation of handover packs and assist the compliance team with evidence gathering for funding and audit purposes.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

Act as the primary liaison with client's delivery team, ensuring project progress aligns with their expectations and addressing access, resident communication, or property-specific issues jointly. Attend and contribute to regular client meetings, providing structured updates on programme performance, issues raised, and corrective actions taken. Log, track, and resolve any resident-related issues via the CRM system in collaboration with THG, ensuring a smooth customer journey even in the absence of formal liaison officers. Maintain positive working relationships with client's wider delivery team, keeping communication open and professional at all stages of the project.

Project Planning & Coordination

Develop and manage a clear installation workflow using spreadsheets and the company's CRM system to monitor job status, team allocation, and progress across properties. Coordinate pre-installation surveys and system designs in line with project timelines, ensuring all data is captured accurately to inform installation teams and reduce on-site issues. Liaise with internal departments -- including design, procurement, compliance, and business support -- to ensure timely mobilisation and resource availability. Track and report on key delivery milestones, identifying dependencies and flagging delays early to ensure proactive resolution.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

Update live trackers and the CRM system daily, ensuring installation status, customer feedback, and outstanding actions are clearly documented. Monitor key delivery metrics, including property completions, open issues, and documentation status, and escalate concerns where progress deviates from plan. Collaborate with internal teams and THG to review performance regularly, using data from trackers to guide discussions and continuous improvement actions. Identify and mitigate risks proactively, maintaining an internal risk/issues log and ensuring lessons learned are shared across the delivery team.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience coordinating or managing field-based installation projects in the solar/renewable retrofit projects. Good working knowledge of MCS standards, health and safety regulations, and renewable energy system installation workflows. Understanding of PAS 2035 principles and the role of pre-installation surveys, system design, and compliance in funded retrofit schemes. Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders, coordinate resources, and deliver against tight project deadlines.
