Job Description

Project Manager - Logistics Engineering based at the Hillthorn site, however a significant amount of travel will be required to support project implementation.

The Logistics Project Manager will have a minimum of 5+ years' experience in a project management role, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for one or more projects to lead and manage project teams, ensuring smooth coordination, documentation, and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities



Lead a project or projects from Commercial tendering phases, through to inception, delivery and infancy phases respectively. Creates and maintains comprehensive project plans and other associated project governance. Tracks project progress and communicate regularly with internal teams and external stakeholders. Maintains project management tools. Ensure the agreed project management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Complete all necessary project documentation. Develop and maintain the project documents, electronic filing, recording, and reporting systems. Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the project teams. Proficient in data cleaning and preparation, as well as data analysis and exploration using a variety of modelling techniques. Support GK, 5S and other improvement activities across the division. Undertake ongoing training to ensure the department stays proactive within the business. Data reporting using appropriate presentation methods. Work hand in hand with Operations to ensure minimum impact of project work. Assist with Project Risk Analysis and contribute towards development of suitable countermeasures. To be able to travel and support project implementation plans off site.

Skills and Qualifications required



Proven Project Management Experience: 5+ years in a project management role, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment. A high degree of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite. Project planning ability. Ability to analyse and present information. Knowledge of working within a warehouse environment. An understanding of health and safety regulations. Strong interpersonal skills & relationship management. Educated in one or more project methodologies such as Agile, Prince 2, traditional Waterfall project with the ability to apply them as needed. Highly proficient with MS Word, Excel, Project. Qualification(s) in project methodologies Prince2, Waterfall, Agile, etc. Driving licence.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00-42,000.00 per year
