Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Sail Yacht Project Manager to oversee our day-to-day operations and drive efficiency within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing resources, improving processes, and ensuring operational excellence.
Duties
Coordination of all project activities.
Drawing a detailed plan in accordance with contractual schedules.
Monitoring weight and stability overview and progress of the projects.
Tracking Lump Sum and clients allowances, progress, an overview.
Choose a team for the project and take charge of leading them. o Also, ensure that the team is capable of completing the project effectively.
Organising and coordinating team activities to achieve each stage of the projects.
Coordinating with the Clients both on-site and in the Clients main office.
Negotiating with contractors, technical and team to ensure project progress at each stage, including budget and quality standards.
Keep up with compliance with the regulatory authorities
Monthly report preparation and distribution to both client and company.
Attending and leading the monthly progress meeting relevant to the projects.
Reporting project progress to a senior manager (VP of Newbuilding and production).
Skills
Ensure to agree on timescales, costs, and resources needed. o Be able to create a detailed plan for achieving each stage of the project.
Have the skill to select and lead the team.
Possess the ability to negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and clients.
Be organised and able to regularly report on progress to the client and senior managers.
Qualification requested
Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering or Yacht Design
Minimum 3 years of experience in the field and management
Be able to work on your own initiative
Italian spoken and written is a plus
1 or more references
Salary 53,000-55,000
