The Taiwan Trade Centre in London is hiring a full-time
Project Manager
to spearhead trade development between Taiwan and the UK, Ireland, as well as the Nordic markets (Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Iceland). This role will take the lead in identifying potential buyers, initiating business connections, and creating tangible opportunities for Taiwanese companies across a wide range of industries. Location:
Office in London (EC2M 2SJ), near Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations.
Requirements:
Legal right to work in the UK.
Bachelor's degree or above.
Familiarity with international business & market development.
Strong communication, presentation and business development skills.
Strong business development skills, particularly in:
? Identifying and approaching
buyers from UK, Ireland and Nordic markets.

Building long-term relationships between
UK/EU buyers and Taiwanese suppliers.
? Promoting business participation through
outreach and follow-up.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Proactive team worker, equally self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
The first 3 months of your employment with us will be a probationary period.
Preferred / a plus:
Knowledge of Taiwan Industry and Mandarin.
Experience using Canva or similar tools to conduct promotional material for business development.
Previous experience working in trade promotion, industry matchmaking, or buyer-supplier engagement events.
Key responsibilities:
Identify, approach, and develop
new buyer leads across the UK, Ireland, and Nordic markets through proactive outreach, networking, and follow-ups.
Promote and facilitate strategic connections
between buyers and Taiwanese suppliers, ensuring strong participation in online and physical trade events.
Guide and support Taiwanese exporters
in exploring and entering the UK and Northern European markets by providing insights and business opportunities.
Respond to sourcing needs
and commercial inquiries with a solution-oriented mindset to generate new business opportunities.
Plan and execute trade promotion initiatives
, including B2B meetings, themed seminars, industry roadshows, and business matchmaking sessions.
Promote Taiwan industry
at trade shows in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics, ensuring maximum exposure for Taiwanese industries and suppliers.
Engage speakers and industry experts
to participate in events (webinars or physical) in Taiwan or overseas, to enhance event credibility and attract quality participants.
Coordinate media engagement
, including inviting journalists, managing event coverage, and leveraging media channels for broader outreach.
Conduct targeted market research
to identify buyer trends, emerging sectors, and opportunities for Taiwanese businesses.
Report progress and insights
to internal stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and timelines across all projects.
