About the role




We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-value programmes at the intersection of financial services and technology. The ideal candidate will have a track record of working within technology-driven companies--particularly those offering platforms, SaaS, or infrastructure solutions for the financial industry. Please note that the role will require regular attendance at our London office.

Project Types



Client Implementations: Lead end-to-end implementation of ZILO products (e.g., Core TA Platform) for clients, ensuring tailored configuration, onboarding, and seamless delivery. Internal Projects: Drive operational enhancements through internal tooling upgrades, automation, and new product feature rollouts. Oversee delivery of software development initiatives, including APIs, data integrations, and cloud migrations, integrating Agile practices within structured governance. External Projects: Deliver externally facing initiatives such as regulatory programmes, market entry activities, and strategic partnerships, ensuring cross-functional alignment and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities



Manage and oversee project stage gates to ensure quality assurance throughout each delivery phase. Uphold security, compliance, and regulatory standards across both financial and technology domains. Own project budgeting and forecasting, proactively managing variances and tracking return on investment. Foster innovation by leveraging AI tools to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce manual overhead. Ensure project financials are aligned with broader commercial goals and liaise with Finance to maintain transparency. Serve as the primary point of contact for client-side project management, handling escalations and maintaining strong client relationships. Partner with teams across engineering, infrastructure, product, production support, legal, compliance, and executive leadership to drive successful delivery. Constructively challenge and refine existing delivery processes to continuously improve efficiency and outcomes.

Experience Required




6-10 years managing large-scale technology projects in financial services (fintech, regtech, platforms). Proven delivery across system builds, infrastructure rollout, or regulatory tech initiatives. Expertise in structured project governance. Experience working in both startup and enterprise environments.

Skills & Attributes



Familiarity with the use of AI technologies to streamline project workflows, optimise planning, and automate delivery tasks--enhancing team productivity and focus. Detail-oriented with strong analytical capability. Skilled with Jira, Confluence, MS Project (or other project management tools). Clear communicator with influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Adaptive, proactive, and grounded in high-integrity problem solving.

Bonus Qualifications




Understanding of European regulations (e.g. MiFID II, GDPR, CASS). Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar frameworks. Experience with Agile, Scrum, MSP, or software product lifecycle knowledge.
