The role:
as a key member of the Delivery and Improvement Team and wider Digital and Transformation Directorate you will be expected to lead on one of more of our strategic programmes and projects, successfully delivering business changes to high standards, on time and within budget.
you will have a key role in project governance and working with stakeholders, to ensure the agreed project outputs are delivered to enable the benefits to be realised
you will also play a key role in supporting the development, embedding and continuous improvement of project and programme management through our Centre of Excellence and Community of Practice.
This is a great opportunity for a dynamic project manager with an excellent track record in managing change to achieve benefits to help improve the way we deliver change across the business and drive improvements in public services.
The successful applicant will have:
significant experience of applying Agile methodology
ability to identify and effectively manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, benefits and change control
significant experience of stakeholder management, RAID management and benefit management
a track record of successful delivery of programmes/projects with technical and non-technical workstreams
experience of managing cross-functional teams to successfully develop and implement change.
