Project Manager who has experience leading and managing project teams on a range of continuous improvement projects preferably within a manufacturing / engineering or automotive industry is required for a well-established company based in Leyland, Lancashire, North West England.

SALARY: circa. \xc2\xa350,000 per annum + Generous Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Leyland, Lancashire, North West England

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Project Manager who has experience leading and managing project teams on a range of continuous improvement projects preferably within a manufacturing / engineering or automotive industry.

Working as a Project Manager you will join the company\xe2\x80\x99s Continues Improvement Department, which incorporates the development of employees in the use of Lean Six Sigma methodology and the co-ordination of company projects in conjunction with Senior Management.

As a Project Manager you will successfully manage projects including new product introductions from an Operations perspective.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Project Manager include:

• Develop, maintain comprehensive timing plans including key milestones and critical path

• Lead, develop and manage project teams

• Prepare and agree project budgets with relevant stakeholders

• Identify and prioritises risk mitigation plans to deal with changing circumstances

• Escalate risks to appropriate levels as required

• Identify opportunities for improvements, implement sustainable corrective actions

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• An excellent team player with a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels

• Demonstrable evidence of well-developed motivational, leadership and teambuilding skills

• Strong commitment to achieve and attention to detail

• Good planning, organisational and problem-solving skills

• Computer literate with a working knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft products

• Relevant project management / engineering qualification essential
